As a non-professional I always thought that Photoshop was for advanced and professional graphic designers, artists, web designers and others who can make something out of Photoshop or who have a team with Photoshop experts making things for them.
That is not always the case, Photoshop can also be used to edit images and create memes. We will be talking about the most used workflows to create memes and how to use Photoshop for this purpose:

While I was researching for this article, I stumbled upon one of the biggest online community Reddit, where I found out about the workflows I am about to talk about. A user there has a community on how to make memes (and he is the one who wrote the article). The article is here:
In this article, I am going to talk about the workflow he has followed and how I use it in my daily work.
Step 1 — Finding Images
The user chooses one of the image directories, you need to use a folder with images you do not work in. You can use the ‘Find Files’ option in the File menu, or a bucket with all of your creative images.
The user then goes to his favorite image editing software and opens the folder where he found the images.
Step 2 — Opening the Files
Depending on the workflow of the creator, he may need to open Photoshop, open the files or open both and go to the Photoshop Layers panel.
In our workflow, we can find the files in Photoshop, open them, go to the Layers panel and start working on the new layers.
Step 3 — Editing and Adjusting Images
Next, the user adjusts the images to make them look good in the meme. The adjustments are usually done in the Layers Panel, where the adjustment layers are stacked.
When adjusting the image in Photoshop, the User can drag and drop elements inside the Layers Panel to move them and adjust the position. Some of the biggest adjustments are usually changing the Levels, Curves or other Color Correction tools.
The Photoshop users usually like to save the image after a good adjustment.

I got an email about a week ago, which I thought was odd because I haven’t uploaded a new illustration in at least 6 months. However, when I checked my backup hard drive at home, I found the source code and the line drawing of the cross on the skull of Pauline Borghese.
I haven’t been able to put together a video because there are multiple files in the source code. However, here’s an illustration of what’s in the source code:

It’s not the final line drawing, but it’s very close. I haven’t had time to play around with it. The drawing will probably improve if I include the material on the subject, but I haven’t really studied how to properly do that in Illustrator yet.
Frame:
Even though the frame is black, the font is white. I find it hard to use Illustrator, so when I have to use it, I just paste a line of text into an empty space.
Color
I had to use a Crayola pencil on a piece of metal because I didn’t have a graphite pencil with me.Q:
