i also found it interesting that you can use the speakerphone in real time to listen to the audio playback. you can use that to check the timing, and adjust the settings if necessary. and, you can also adjust the dsp modules and presets to your liking. and, of course, you can also record audio to a file or a memory card if youd like.
hang around in the mixer, and youll find that its possible to really control the gain of the different effects, and to manipulate the volume of the speakers and headphones. its like having an entire dj booth in your computer! if youre using a headset with speakerphone, its possible to hear a real time recording of the speakers, or you can adjust the output of the speaker phone itself via midi. all of this is controlled via midi, so once youre able to do so, you can start playing around with the actual audio. but, do note that youre using midi, so you can use the controls in the synthesizer or sampler to modify the audio.
